CRYING VESSEL | Pleasures For The Wicked

Post-punk rising stars CRYING VESSEL unveils their sophomore record, Pleasures For The Wicked. Co-written by the duo themselves - Slade Templeton and Basil Oberli - the concept album is an allegorical drama inside the limbo between life and death and in a dark home of secrets and regrets. Each track stages each of phase of the narrative as the story progresses. The concept is echoed by the metaphorical elements and motifs in their cover art, mirroring the record’s symbolisms and reflections of the past.

Prior to this release, Crying Vessel also unveiled the first music video for this record for the rich, dark and romantic melodrama track “The Abyss.”. The retro-inspired music video shows the musical duo entering an altered dimension after discovering ancient relics hidden in the dark forest, finding themselves deeper in mystery.
